SUMMARY: Performs all aspects of parts sales including but not limited to greeting and welcoming customers, suggestive selling, closing the sale, and accurately completing the sale. This position will assist with all aspects of the parts counter processes.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Assists customers in an enthusiastic and courteous manner; provides outstanding

     customer service in person and on the phone.

·         Work with Service department mechanics and management to procure parts needed for

     repair orders.

·         Advises and assists customers with their choices of product.

·         Utilizes various selling techniques to increase sales.

·         Accurately completes sales using DIS system according to established

     procedures.

·         Look up, order and stock parts.  

·         Check-in/check-out incoming and outgoing freight.

·         Develops and maintains knowledge of all merchandise in selling area to

     effectively assist customers with accurate information; keeps current as new

     product lines are introduced.

·         Assists with merchandising efforts, displays, and floor moves as needed.

·         Utilizes customer-focused selling skills, add-on selling, closing skills, and other

     sales generating skills.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Tractor/Industrial Equipment parts experience preferred.

·         Strong Mechanical aptitude.

·         Must possess basic computer skills

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk and sit

  • Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read
    technical information, and/or use a keyboard

  • Frequently required to lift/push/carry up to 50 pounds

  • Frequently work near moving mechanical parts

  • Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions

  • Occasionally loud noise (examples: agricultural equipment, earth-moving equipment)

  • Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used, Forklift

 WAGES AND BENEFITS:

  • $18.00-$24.00 Base hourly pay depending on experience and qualifications
