A Little Bit About Valley Tractor
Valley Tractor first opened in 1946 as a division of Uecker Brothers Motors, a Ford
car and truck dealership in Cashmere, WA. Ford cars, trucks and tractors were sold
from the same building. This building is currently occupied by the Cashmere Valley
Record and Cashmere Mini Storage.
In 1948, Valley Tractor was relocated to a site at the foot of Miller Street on
Wenatchee Avenue. The site is currently occupied by Leonardo’s Italian Food Restaurant.
Since 1948, Valley Tractor has expanded four times and built three separate new
facilities. In 1975, we built a new building in the Old Station area at 145 Easy
Street. That site is now the home of Easy Street Car Wash and Charter Cable T.V.
In 1976, we opened a new branch operation in Chelan on Woodin Ave. (now the site
of Les Schwab Tires); and, in 1985 we relocated our Chelan Branch to a new building
on the Chelan Falls Highway, which is now the site of Lake Chelan Building Supply.
In 1995, we built our current facility in the Baker Flats Industrial Park, in East
Wenatchee. In 2001 we consolidated our operations into our East Wenatchee store.
From our base in East Wenatchee, our service extends across four counties with primary
coverage, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan.
Valley Tractor represents the full line of Kubota Tractors & Equipment, John Deere
Farm and Lawn Care Equipment plus a wide array of orchard and vineyard specialty
equipment manufactures like Rears, Turbomist and Blue Line.
We currently have 31 employees and we take pride in the fact that over half of those
employees have worked for Valley Tractor for at least twelve years. The core principles
in our business are focusing first and foremost on serving our customers needs and
maintaining the ability to service everything well sell on site at our dealership.
